Should Kendall be player represenative for Jets?

With all that is surrounding the Jets and Pete Kendall is it possible that he can fairly represent the players and their best interest at this time? He would most likely say he is still going to be fair to the players and the organization. If you were in his situation and could stick it to the team that will not give you a new deal and will probably cut you before the start of the season you would be very tempted to.

Not saying he is not trying to do a fair and honest job but whenever a story comes up now involving the players rep I will think twice about if the story is fact or fiction. This came to me as I saw a story on the Jets hitting too hard - too early in camp. When I heard Kendall brought it to the attention of the NFL I thought it sounded a little fishy. They were in shorts and helmets so how much contact could there really have been???

It has been my experience that wheather in shorts or full pads that lineman get pretty physical. Maybe this is just an older player that does not want to go full speed anymore and a young guy fighting for a roster spot blocking his heart out because he might be cut the next day. Kendall does not know that feeling because he has a contract but if he keeps this up he will be cut quicker then Rosie O’ Donell being fired from the View.
