Jets Release RB Fisher

Fisher

The released running back Tony Fisher on Tuesday. Fisher, who signed with the team just last Friday, played four seasons with Green Bay before signing with St. Louis in 2006. He has rushed for 889 yards and four touchdowns, to go with 139 catches for 1,059 yards and five TDs in his career. He originally signed with the Packers as an undrafted rookie free agent in 2002.
