BREAKING NEWS: Blake Kelley goes down, Collarbone injury has him questionable for next week’s show – a SHOCKER to JETS FANS!

Blake Kelley, the 17-year old vet out of Parma Senior High, has just informed us that he will miss week’s 11th edition of the hit-show on, “Gridiron Tailgating“, a personal favorite show of fans in which he participates, gives us laughs, along with making us scratch our heads, and of course… where he SINGS… ! What else does he do, as it’s just a question of what does he not do? This kid can do it all… Let’s get straight to the facts here first on with sideline reporter and comedian, the replacement filling in for him and his size 6 1/2 Reeboks – (Brandon “The Stuff” Stella) He officially is on this week’s Gab Injury Report along with Jim Dubenetzky (Bruised ego, emotions, and feelings, following blowout loss handed by the Patriots to his beloved Chargers, 6-8 weeks) and Gab Site Editor and Writer Matt Loede (tiredness and hoarse voice, sore throat – out with a day-day, week-by-week prognosis done by Dr. Sack, he will battle it out through the rest of the season), Mike Panas (loss of memory, out for season), and Brandon Stella (slurred speech, from talking about the Cleveland Browns all the time, doubtful for “Gridiron Tailgating”). Tribute for Blake Kelley will be @ 6406 Laverne Ave. Friday Nite – inside the House of “Gab Studios and Inc.” (Right next to his house). There will be live signing and much more, along with classics from “The Temptations”, Barry Manilow, and Tom Jones… along with much more… “Uptown Girl”, “Wake me up before you go-go”, and “Just my Imagination”, and The Police with “I’ll be missing/watching you”. Food and Drinks will be served for free by Hosts Jim Dubenetzky and Matt Loede. Brandon Stella will be giving the speech and song for the halftime show…

Now lets turn it over to Brandon Stella, as we get a live update and column from him @ “Good Ole Days” in Parma.

Folks, America mourns, Jets fans/nation struggle to find the strength to move on, and you the “Blake Kelley Fan Club” asks why and how such a bad thing could happen to such a great guy? Well, personally I was not there to witness the fact but when talking to him early this morning he told me he broke his collarbone, as he talked to me in such a severe and legitimate pain, that was so sharp, a serious pain that he needed pills to ease it off! His recovery and diagnosis is being determined by Specialist/Columnist Jim Dubenenetzky, who will visit the “sad lad” while he is sobbing because he had to miss his first appearance of his career, in the job he lives doing and what he’s good at – Talk Show Host alongside to editor Russ Loede on the weekly phenomenon “Gridiron Tailgating”. Jets Fans/Nation everywhere are paying respect, homage, and tribute to him and we at Gridiron Tailgating paid honor to him with a moment of silence. The incident occurred in only a way Blake Kelley himself, a “houhdini” in some sorts and fashion, of rareness and true excitement – could pull it off – as he speaks about the topic… “I was doing an experiment in Physics class early morning outside the PSH on the football field, when it was wet, and you all know how the field has its bad days with dirt and divots in the ground… I then took a 40-yard dash, that being the experiment, I took off like it was the NFL Draft scouting combine, in hopes of my usual 4.4 time, then I sped my and had 4.3, low 4.24 in sights, and I though I had it, then, WHOOPS… I tripped and fell like ba – nan – nas, thus breaking my collarbone, therefore getting a redshirt junior year to recuperate and get rejuvenated.” Right now I cannot remember much, as I laugh about how Jim McMahon is still the starting QB of the Chicago Bears, when asked of the question by Russell…” I’d like to thank most importantly God, Dad, Sister, Mom, NFL Gridiron Gab Family, Jets Fans everywhere, and also importantly my “Fan Club” to hanging on my side each moment and giving their condolences to me as I suffer and hope to get better, THANK YOU All for your SUPPORT – Cool Shades of Blake Kelley Fan Sincerely,

Blake “SINGalong” Kelley

p.s. Next week I’m questionable, but I expect to come back as the original reports are being thrown out the door like a brick, 4-6 weeks is too much, I’ll be sure to make it back next week to join Russ and Brandon on “Gridiron Tailgating” in a TRIUMPHANT Return, one for the ages, Record Books, and one that will down in infamy and History forever as one of the guttiest performances ever in Gab and Talk Show Podcast History, Ever!!! I will be BACK New York!!!!

J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This will be the chant I will hear coming off the injury report and into the “Gab Studios” next Wednesday afternoon – hearing to my chagrin and dismay, but happily, a Standing “O”

There you have it folks, Blake’s in good spirits now and he’s eager to join us on the set next week – email him to give him your thoughts, concern, encouragement, and PRAYERS of course for this terrible turn of “unlikely”, well I wouldn’t go that far in saying that… because well its… uh… Blake Kelley, folks, Thanks A LOT – Just THANK YOU for Jim, Matt, Brandon, King (Russ Loede Sr.), for all who have gave their best wishes to the kid who’s trying to make it writing the best articles east of the Mississippi! Just think of all the good moments he’s had singing “Wake me up before you go-go”, Uptown Girl, Just my Imagination, apples and bananas, and his hit single “I will survive”, if you want to listen to the Blake Kelley archives/classic songs just go to Tailgating for the best of Blake Kelley – and for now like Jim D would say it ~ PEACE!!!!!!!!!!

Updates will be coming soon and I hope he send your best to Blake Kelley – my sidekick, hero, and best friend in Talk Sports – Thank You Once Again from, Blake you get better and until next time – do it just like only Blake knows how – as I will leave you with an honorary quote, one of the best of in the Talks Sports Archives, Hall of Fame, and as an All-Time line from Blake Kelley, only he could use this one, the way he said it – “Listeners listen and viewers view, Russ!” Signing and Goodbye from and – and it was just my Imagination once again – Thank You Blake for the Memories – I look forward to next Wednesday. Vote for 9-20-07 for BLAKE Day in honor of your fallen hero – as he RECOVERS from the 40-yard dash fall, which in essence, resulted in a terrible, broken collarbone. They carried him off the field yesterday and he finish the 40 in a record-setting 7.07.07 seconds! (The gym class heard the crack – that’s how bad it was – Blake). Bye-Bye from Kelley…

Blake is truly a good guy – I wish him nothing but the best!

Moment of silence… (I cannot remember such a tough day like today… Blake after the injury, I’m just shell-shocked and heart-broken for the GAB…) “I hope Matt understands…”

p.s. He told us to go on with the show in honor of him… as Jim Dubenetzky gave him a tissue to help his best friend and hero in need, when tears came flowing down, as he was by his side, hugging the poor fellow, singing, “One day, things are going to get better.” -As Blake Kelley eluded to singing, wake me up before you go, don’t just leave hangin’ on your nightly yo-yo – with in slurred speech in sounded like: “Rake re rup refore ro ro ro ron’t rujust reave re raning’ ron ro righty ro-ro.”

Jim D – “next to Ray Lewis, in all honesty, I just don’t sell anyone in this game/bizzness tougher than this cookie – Blake Kelley – he’s the ultimate warrior and true professional!”

Matt – “Make Sure his picks are in”

Brandon – “Tell him I’m singing “I’ll be watching you” the Re-mix done by P-Diddy for Biggie when he died… (The Police). Wednesday we will play Mase, with, “Welcome Back”

Russ – Next Wednesday your return will be the greatest comeback since M.J. and Throwback Jerseys, I liken it unto Kirk Gibson rounding the bases after the WS HR – that’s what I will think about when the name Blake Kelley is mentioned from now on… I’ll leave the your seat open before the show and It just isn’t the same without you… See you Wednesday!!!
