The Jets made a minor pair of roster moves today, signing wide out David Clowney to the practice squad, and releasing wide out Chris Davis.  Clowney was waived from the active roster back on October 23rd after being inactive for three games.  He was originally selected by the Green Bay Packers in the fifth round (157th overall) of the 2007 draft.  He was waived by Green Bay on September 1st and then signed to the Packers practice squad on September 4th.  Davis was originally signed by the Jets as a rookie free agent on July 26th, then waived September 1st, and signed to the practice squad September 3rd. He compiled 721 receiving yards on 62 receptions with four touchdowns and rushed for 175 yards and one score in four seasons at Wake Forest.
