Jets wide out Laveranues Coles may be missing Sunday’s home contest with the Redskins due to a concussion. The receiver missed practice on Wednesday, and it’s unknown on if he will try to take the field at any point this week. The injury took place during Sunday’s ugly 13-3 loss to the Bills. It is the second time in 10 months that Coles suffered a head injury, the first came on Christmas last year in Miami. Sunday’s injury took place in the fourth quarter after he made a 13-yard catch. Coles was driven into the ground and appeared to have been knocked out cold.

Last month Mcgee had to sit out with a brain injury. Lets call it what it is, the NFL’s dirty secret is getting worse. Not one mention of the fact that the N.E. Patriots have not had one concussion this year. Why, a medical procedure which positions the jaw and corrects orthopedic structures. Yet the NFL lets players like Coles twist in the wind.
