Jets Aim To Keep Dolphins Winless
Posted by Matt Loede on November 30th, 2007 filed in NewsThe teams at the bottom of the AFC East will lock up this Sunday when the winless Dolphins host the 2-and-9 Jets at Dolphin Stadium. The Jets have dropped seven-of-eight after last week’s 34-3 loss to the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day. Kellen Clemens threw for 142 yards and an interception in the loss. Thomas Jones managed just 40 yards on the ground and has failed to find the end zone all season. The Dolphins dropped a heartbreaker, 3-0, to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday Night Football. Rookie John Beck was 14-of-23 for 132 yards for Miami. Ricky Williams returned to the lineup for the Fins, but was lost for the season after suffering a chest injury in the first half. One of the Jets wins this season was a 31-28 victory over the Dolphins in Week Two.
