Pennington to Get the Start vs Titans

Jets Coach Eric Mangini said Wednesday that he hadn’t yet made a decision on whether it will be Kellen Clemens or Chad Pennington, but said Clemens would start Sunday if he recovers in time from a rib injury and is mentally and physically prepared.  Now with missing the last two days of practice, the coach has stated that Pennington would get the start at QB.  Pennington stepped in last week for Clemens after he was hurt early against the Pats, and kept the Jets in the game before they fell 20-10.
