Callahan Coming to Coach the Jets O-Line?

The Jets running game was not very good once again in 2007, and now the team is looking at options about upgrading it in terms of coaching.  NFL Network’s Adam Schefter is reporting that the Jets interviewed former Nebraska coach Bill Callahan for the role of offensive line coach.  It was a rough year for Callahan at Nebraska, and he was let go by them at the end of the year.  The former coach was at one time the head coach of the Raiders, and he took them to the Super Bowl only to lose to the Buccaneers back in 2002.  He was fired after the following season when the team collapsed. He has earned a rep as a solid offensive mind, and would fill the vacant role nicely for the Jets.
