The Jets had a busy day on the coaching front Wednesday, as they finally found a special teams coordinator in Kevin O’Dea. The New York Post reported that the team also promoted Mike Devlin to tight ends/assistant offensive line coach and Jerome Henderson to defensive backs coach. Back to O’Dea, he was with the Bears the last two seasons as an assistant special teams coach. The Bears thrived with O’Dea, as they have been solid the last two seasons in the special teams department. Hopefully that trend can continue in the Big Apple.
