Vilma Can Talk To All Teams About a Trade….But….

While the Jets are allowing LB Jonathan Vilma permission to seek a trade, he’s not allowed toVilma talk to one team – the rival New England Patriots.  Yes, the back and forth with Eric Mangini and Bill Belichick continue, as the Boston Globe broke the news that Vilma is not allowed to talk to the AFC Champs about joining their squad in a deal.  The New York Daily News reported last week that the Jets have given Vilma permission to shop himself, noting he must first find a team willing to give him a new deal. If the 25-year-old linebacker is able to accomplish that, the Jets would then begin trade negotiations.

i dont know losing him and robertson would be a downer but we can pick up some value guys in the draft

this is what the jets should do

    – get rid of robertson and vilma through trade and pick up maybe a low first rounder like maybe pick 13 or 14 and an additional 5th round pick
    – then try to sign asante samuel and jevon kearse which makes your D strong(2 for 2)
-then take your 6th pick and draft the best guy available.
you cant pass up chris or jake long, darren mcfadden, or possibly matt ryan, but they can let dorsey go because he wouldnt fit the 3-4 scheme
-or if all those guys are gone take vernon gholston or sedrick ellis
-i think if u dont pick sedrick ellis and u pick up jevon kearse taking DT red bryant in the third rounf is a value pick
-in the 2nd round the jets should aim for a solid linebacker or an offensive lineman
-in the 4th they should select a wide receiver, safety, or another offensive lineman
-int eh 5th they should take whatever they didnt take in the fourth
-in the 6th and 7th i think they can use a fullback maybe and an additional offensive lineman

i think that that is a dumb idea actually and would never happen except for a few things but the jets would go broke

in about a month im gonna type up my input on this draft and how the jets will become a winning team
