Chatman Inks One-Year Deal with the Jets
Posted by Matt Loede on March 10th, 2008 in News
The Jets have come to terms with running back Jesse Chatman on a deal. Last season in his only year with Miami, Chatman ran for 515 yards on 128 carries in six starts. He also added 27 catches for 161 yards. Chatman was an undrafted free agent of the Chargers back in 2002, and in 55 career games has rushed for 943 yards on 207 carries (4.6 avg) and four TD’s. He is a decent enough backup to push Leon Washington for some playing time, and will add depth to the Jets backfield.

Ah so Musa is bound to be a Raven unless another team gets interested in Smith.
