The Jets today added to their backfield by signing free agent running back Musa Smith.  The former Raven set career highs last season with 264 yards rushing and 27 catches for 192 yards.  He was a third-round pick out of Georgia in 2003 and has run for 496 yards and four TD’s.  He will join a backfield of Thomas Jones, Leon Washington and Jesse Chatman.  He will also help the Jets on special teams.
