The Jets today signed free agent safety Cameron Worrell. This will be his third team, playing three years with the Bears and last season with Miami, playing in 12 games. He had seven starts last season putting up 56 tackles with no picks. The 28-year-old signed with the Bears as an undrafted free agent in 2003. In four seasons, he appeared in 46 games, recording 20 tackles, two sacks, four forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. Expect him to be a solid member of the Jets special teams in 2008, and play in a reserve role in the secondary.
