First-Round Pick Dustin Keller and Jets Come to Terms
Posted by Matt Loede on July 18th, 2008 filed in NewsThe Jets have announced they have signed one of their first-round draft picks, TE Dustin Keller. The pass catcher from Purdue ws the 13th overall pick of the draft in April. Keller is a force at the TE spot, standing 6-4, and coming in about 240. He played a lot in the slot at Purdue, and averaged 62 grabs for 826 yards and 11 scores between his junior and senior seasons. Some say that the Jets will use him as a third receiver when he’s in the game, and will be a solid pro that can make catches in the clutch for his QB.
