Punter Ben Graham was released by the Jets Tuesday, two days after he was simply awful vs the Pats at the Meadowlands. In that game, Graham averaged just 27.3 net yards per punt, as the Pats were able to take advantage of his bad punts and beat the Jets 19-10. He was in his fourth season with the team. “We’ll look at it very closely, then we’ll move forward here,” coach Mangini said, “see where the different opportunities are and evaluate them.” The team also released wide receiver Paul Raymond from the practice squad. Back to Graham, he appeared in 49 career games for the Jets, averaging 43.7 yards with 24 touchbacks and 67 inside the 20-yard line.
