Law Takes the Field, Team Releases Justin Miller

Ty Law took the field today with the Jets, and he could see playing time when the team takes on the Pats on Thursday night in Foxboro. The team today announced the release of corner Justin Miller, a 2nd round draft pick of the team. The often injured Mller had played in just one game this season, and last year just two games. He did appear in 16 games back in 2006 at the CB spot, and made 53 tackles. As for Law, he was received with open arms. “I’m just happy I got another opportunity to come up here and play and help this team,” Law said. “I think they’re on the right track and they’re moving in the right direction. And, I’m not the oldest guy in the locker room anymore. Thanks, Brett.”
