Posted by Matt Loede on November 21st, 2008 filed in NewsJets rookie QB Erik Ainge has been suspended four games by the league for violating the leagues policy regarding anabolic steroids and related substances. Ainge was a fifth-round draft pick by the Jets back in 2008 out of Tennessee. He won’t be able to be back with the team till December 15th, but since he is already on IR for the season, it really does not matter that he will or will not be back.
