While there was no dobut that had wanted to be the head coach, it looks like offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer is happy coming back to the club. The coordinator has signed a new extension, and is going to say on Rex Ryan’s staff. The following about the terms of the deal are below from the Star Ledger:
The Jets have signed offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer to a contract extension and he will stay with the club, someone with knowledge of the situation said today. Schottenheimer, 35, had one year left on a contract that paid him roughly $1.5 million this upcoming season.
