Jets to Be Among the Teams w/ Interest in McAllister
Posted by Matt Loede on February 17th, 2009 in News
Now that he’s a free man, Chris McAllister will have a number of suitors, including the Jets. Here is a report on that from today’s Newark Star-Ledger:
Don’t be surprise if the Jets are among the teams to express interest in Chris McAlister. Cornerback is perhaps the Jets’ biggest position of need and new Jets coach Rex Ryan is intimately familiar with McAlister, a first-round pick in 1999 by the Ravens who made the Pro Bowl in 2003, 2004 and 2006. The Jets desperately need someone to pair with Pro Bowler Darrelle Revis.
