Jets Looking at Ways to Try and Keep FB Richardson

Pro Football Talk.com is reporting that the Jets are looking at ways to try and keep around fullback Tony Richardson. Here is the story from earlier today:

The New York Jets reportedly are trying to find a way to keep fullback Tony Richardson around, according to Dave Hutchinson of the Newark Star-Ledger.

Per Hutchinson, the two sides are close to finalizing a new contract. A deal is expected to be accomplished before free agency opens at midnight on Friday.

Richardson signed with the Jets last year after spending two years in Minnesota. Before that, Richardson played eleven seasons with the Chiefs.
