Marques Douglas
Another former Raven is joining the Jets, as the team has come to terms with Ravens unrestricted free agent DE Marques Douglas. The Newark Star-Ledger broke the story, and said that details of the deal are not yet available. The ninth-year pro is the third ex-Raven to join the Jets, as the team also has LB Bart Scott and safety Jim Leonhard.

Douglas is 6-2, 292, and will give the Jets some depth along their D-line. Last year as the Ravens made it all the way to the AFC Title game vs the Steelers, Douglas had 36 tackles in 16 games in a reserve role. Douglas has been around, as he’s also played for the Bucs, Saints and 49′ers. He will likely be a reserve for the Jets, though before last year he had been a starter for five straight seasons.

The Jets are still interested in another Raven free agent, as the team still is looking to sign CB Corey Ivy.
