Let the crazy, outlandish rumors start to fly. The Newark Star Ledger has one that involves the Jets going after (drum roll please) – Redskins QB Jason Campbell! Here’s the tidbit:
It’s that time, folks, when rumors will be flying around like so many planes landing at Newark Liberty Airport and here’s the latest. According to the NFL Network’s Steve Wyche, if the Redskins trade up from 13 and land USC quarterback Mark Sanchez, they would then attempt to deal incumbent starting quarterback Jason Campbell to the Jets in what could be a three-team deal. A third team was not named.
