Ellis to Face Suspension Over November Arrest?

The Daily News says that Shaun Ellis could face a suspension over his
marijuana arrest back in November:

Shaun Ellis would not be surprised if the league suspended him for the season opener in Houston. Sunday, the defensive end said it had always been a possibility after he was arrested for possession of marijuana during a traffic stop in November. “It’s the discipline that comes along with what happened,” Ellis said. “It was kind of expected from the possibility of what could happen. I’ve got to deal with it, move on and put it behind me.” That could leave the Jets without two core defensive starters for the opener. LB Calvin Pace was suspended four games for violating the league’s banned substance policy.
