Most of the night at the Meadowlands revolved around Mike Vick and his outing at QB for the Eagles, but for the Jets, they used the night to get the most out of the rushing game, as Danny Woodhead, making a bid to make the team, ran for 158 yards and two touchdowns in the teams 38-27 win.

Rookie QB Mark Sanchez was sharp in his only series, completing all five of his passes, and throwing a 21-yard touchdown pass to Jerricho Cotchery. Another big Jets highlight was Erik Ainge, who threw a 73-yard touchdown pass to David Clowney to make it 38-27 with 4:51 remaining.

Woodhead was the highlight on a night that mostly was made for Vick. He had missed last season with a knee injury, and had a 55-yard touchdown scamper in the second quarter. He took the handoff up the middle, maneuvered through traffic, kicked outside and took off down the right sideline to make it 14-14.

For the Jets, they end the preseason at 2-2, and now will get set to do it for real in just over a week vs the Houston Texans.
