Pace Re-Joins the Jets After a Four-Game Suspension

The Star-Ledger reports today on the return of Calvin Pace, who should help the Jets D even more:

Coach Rex Ryan left little doubt he was thrilled to welcome back outside linebacker Calvin Pace this week. “I wasn’t going to kiss him on the lips,” Ryan said. “But I thought about it.” Pace returned to the team Monday after serving a four-week suspension for violating the league’s policy on banned performance enhancing substances. “I’ve never been so happy to see 58 guys in my life,” Pace said. Pace, the team’s best pass rusher last season, joins a unit that has created havoc through the first four games, the seventh-year pro gives Ryan another weapon for a group that held the Saints’ high-powered offense to just 10 points.
