WR Cotchery to Sit Sunday with Left Hamstring Injury

A left hammy injury is going to sideline Jets WR Jerricho Cotchery Sunday against the Bills at home:

Jets wide receiver Jerricho Cotchery will sit out Sunday’s game against the Bills at the Meadowlands with a left hamstring injury, according to two people with knowledge of Cotchery’s status who spoke on the condition of anonymity because they’re not authorized to speak publicly. Cotchery, who suffered the injury last week in practice and aggravated it in Monday night’s 31-27 loss to the Dolphins, has missed the past two days of practice. And with rain in the forecast for Sunday, it makes little sense for him to risk further injury by playing. “It doesn’t look very good,” coach Rex Ryan said Thursday following practice in a cold, steady rain in Florham Park. ”We’ll see how he is.”
