The NY Daily News reports that Kerry Edwards is flat out peeved about the benching he got:

Kerry Rhodes said he was stunned, embarrassed and humbled by his demotion. Asked if he expects to be back next season, Rhodes said, “I don’t know. I didn’t expect to be in this situation, so I don’t know.” Asked if he wants to return, he replied, “I’m not going to answer that right now.” For the most part, Rhodes shrugged off the demotion, saying he feels “like a little kid in timeout.” He didn’t complain, but he also didn’t dispute the notion that Ryan made him a scapegoat to send a message to the rest of his free-falling team. “I’m a guy that’s looked upon to do a lot of things for this team, and I’m a guy who makes a little money as well,” said Rhodes, who took issue with the term “benched.”
