Braylon Edwards appears to be upset with his rookie QB:
Subtle or not, Braylon Edwards’ comments can be inferred as a criticism of rookie QB Mark Sanchez, who threw three more interceptions and continues to be reckless with the football despite the color-coded system put in place by coach Rex Ryan to help Sanchez. “I thought we were through it the rough spots, but obviously we’re not,” said Ryan, adding that he had a talk with Sanchez on Monday. Rookie QBs usually go to bad teams and struggle because of it, Sanchez landed on a playoff-ready team and has proven more of a risk than a reward. Sanchez has completed just 53.5 percent of his passes – tied for 29th in the NFL, he has thrown 12 touchdowns and 20 interceptions – tied for second-most in the league (with another rookie, the Lions’ Matthew Stafford and he has a passer rating of just 62.3 – fifth-worst among players who qualify.
