Cole: Jets QB’s rank 24th overall in the NFL

Jason Cole of Yahoo Sports! is out with histeam QB rankings. Cole has the team ranked at #24 overall in the league:

24. New York Jets: Line up the stats for Stafford and Mark Sanchez and you have pretty much the same guys as rookies last season. However, the impression was that Sanchez struggled a lot more because he was on a better team and actually got to the playoffs. Some of that is true. Ultimately, inexperience was a factor as Sanchez looked very much like a quarterback who had only 16 starts in college. When opponents figured him out, he wasn’t able to adjust quickly. He did show gains in the playoffs, so there’s lots of hope.

  1. Bill on L. I. says:

Jets fans know a lot more than about MS than this Cole seems to know. Jets were a half away from the SB with a rookie QB. After the mid season interception fest, MS settled down and did everything asked of him. How can anyone possible rank him 24th?
