Is Curtis Martin a First Ballot Hall of Famer?

The 2010 Hall of Fame class was inducted into Canton this past weekend, with Emmitt Smith and Jerry Rice being first ballot Hall of Famers.

Could Curtis Martin, the great Jets running back, be next?

Martin ranks fourth all time in career rushing yards, but faces stiff competition to be inducted next year.

Other notables eligible for the first time in 2011 include Jerome Bettis, Marshall Faulk, Deion Sanders, and Dick Vermeil.

You also can’t forget about the likes of Shannon Sharpe Cris Carter, among many others, who have a good chance as well.

So the question is simple Jets fans. Will Curits Martin be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2011?
