Kyle Wilson To Replace Drew Coleman

After being demoted earlier in the season, first round pick Kyle Wilson is moving up the depth chart.

The Daily News has learned that Kyle Wilson will replace Drew Coleman as the starting nickel cornerback against the Browns. The Jets first-round pick has only played a handful of defensive snaps in the past few weeks.

A game tape review revealed that he was in on only two defensive snaps in last week’s overtime win against the Lions.

Coleman, who gave up six catches for 101 yards and a touchdown last week, could actually play an equal number of snaps as Wilson on Sunday. It’ll depend on how the rookie does early in the game.
