Jets Let Go About 30 People in Their Sales Department

Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News reports the Jets eliminated approximately 30 jobs in the sales department last week, team spokesman Bruce Speight confirmed. The organization beefed up its personal seat license sales efforts last year for the opening of the New Meadowlands Stadium with temporary sales positions. The possibility of a lockout this offseason could conceivably make it more difficult to sell additional PSLs for the 2011 season.
