Jets Will Have Employee Furloughs In Event Of Lockout

Employees on the business side of the Jets will be required to take furloughs if there is a lockout, Daniel Kaplan of the SportsBusiness Journal reports.

According to Kaplan, employees will be required to take one unpaid week off per month if no collective bargaining agreement is reached. In June of 2009, 60 employees on the business side–sales, marketing, public relations, finance, community relations, stadium and ticket operations, and general administration–of the Jets were furloughed for two weeks.
