Ryan Rips Into Jets Players After a Second Day of Brawling

One day after their headline-making brawl, the Jets engaged in a brief scuffle Tuesday and this time coach Rex Ryan stopped practice and tore into his team according to Rich Cimini of ESPNNewYork.

An angry Ryan, whose salty language is famous to the nation due to the Jets’ appearance on HBO’s “Hard Knocks”, tore into his team for about a minute and resumed practice.

About 15 minutes later, cornerback Antonio Cromartie began screaming at an offensive player during 7-on-7 drills. Ryan stopped practice and made the entire team run punishing sprints.

Another incident later occurred in a 1-on-1 pass rush drill. Backup offensive tackle Dennis Landolt was carted off the field after blocking defensive tackle Marcus Dixon. Guard Brandon Moore screamed at Dixon, accusing him of a cheap shot.

Needless to say, the team’s preseason opener Friday at Cincinnati cannot come soon enough as at least the team will get a chance to hit opponents rather than each other.
