Jets Work Out Corners

The Jets, looking for cornerback depth in the wake of Darrelle Revis‘ knee injury, brought in four free agents Friday, Rich Cimini of reports. They conducted tryouts with Chris Carr, Dante Hughes and Darrin Wells and visited with Aaron Berry, according to a league source.

Carr, 29, a journeyman with 105 games of experience, is the biggest name. But the Jets have no immediate plans to sign him, a source said. Actually, it’s highly unlikely they will sign him at all.

Hughes, a third-round pick of the Colts in 2007, has played with the Colts and Chargers. He was cut recently by the Giants. Wells played five games with the Falcons last season.
