Despite pending gun and drug charges, Jets running back Mike Goodson will report to Jets practice on Tuesday, Conor Orr of the Newark Star-Ledger reports.
Goodson was in court Wednesday where he plead not guilty to five separate weapon and drug charges, including the unlawful possession of a handgun and possession of hollow-point bullets.
Conviction on these charges could land Goodson in prison, though his lawyer, Tony Fusco, is confident that the running back will avoid jail time.
Goodson has been to the Jets facility since the arrest last Friday morning in Denville to meet with head coach Rex Ryan and general manager John Idzik.
His next appearance in court is June 12, during the team’s mandatory OTA sessions.
