Decker Listed As Questionable – But Expected To Play Sunday

Wide receiver Eric Decker is officially listed as questionable for the Jets’ game Sunday against the Lions, but barring some sort of unusual setback, look for Decker to play despite his hamstring injury, Dom Cosentino of the Newark Star-Ledger reports.

“Practicing today,” Decker said Friday, “I would say I’m ready to go Sunday. So I’ll be out there.”

Decker didn’t do every rep during practice Friday, but he said he did all he needed to do to feel like he’s ready.

“Hamstring’s feeling good,” Decker said. “It’s definitely night and day from last week. I’m happy with the way I progressed, and I’m looking forward to getting out there Sunday.”

Head coach Rex Ryan said Decker was limited at practice and would be questionable on the injury report. But, in his next breath, Ryan made a point of muttering, “Feel good about him, though”—a deliberate aside that signaled Decker ought to play.
