Jets defensive end Sheldon Richardson wasn’t at organized team activities on Tuesday and Wednesday, and head coach Todd Bowles said Richardson has only been at One Jets Drive for about half of the team’s offseason program, which began more than a month ago but is still voluntary at this point, Dom Cosentino of the Newark Star-Ledger reports.
Richardson took to Twitter on Friday morning to let anyone who’s been rapping him for his absences know he was at Thursday’s practice, which was closed to the media.
“All I’m hearing from ppl is get to OTA’s etc. like I jus wasn’t at practice yesterday putting in wrk tho.”
“I have a life outside of football n I chose to enjoy my family a little longer so to u fans that know everything please worry bout yourself.”
When Richardson finally does take the field, Jets fans can watch him and the rest of this stout defensive front with the help from Hipmunk.com.
