Jets defensive end Sheldon Richardson took to Instagram and posted a response to the NFL suspending him for just the first game of next season, Darryl Slater of the Newark Star-Ledger reports.
So the league has sent down there decision I have to live with it I’m grateful it could have been more but this is overspill from a silly offseason on my part but I’ve grown from it been pass it….I’m still smiling like its draft day….to my family and fans I love ya #whatdontkillyoumakesyoustronger #trulyblessed and #highlyfavored #positivevibes GOD BLESS!!!!
Richardson, last July, was suspended four games by the league, for repeated positive marijuana tests.
Later that month, he was involved in a high-speed chase with police. In addition to the one-game suspension, he wound up receiving just a fine and community service for that incident, which resulted in misdemeanor resisting arrest charge.
