Jets WR Robby Anderson Arrested Again

It’s another huge setback for Jets wide out Robby Anderson, as the second-year player is in trouble again with the law, and the team is going to have to decide what to do with him at this point.

According to Andy Slater of 940 AM-WINZ, Anderson was arrested early Friday morning on numerous charges, including harm to a public servant/family, reckless driving, eluding police and resisting arrest.

Anderson, 24, was arrested last May at a Florida music festival and charged with a felony count of resisting arrest with violence and obstruction of justice. The police report indicated he was fighting with security and a police offer after he was ordered to leave the festival.

The former Temple star and 2016 undrafted free agent, Anderson was one of the Jets’ biggest success stories last season, when he caught 63 balls for 943 yards and seven touchdowns. Mostly a deep threat as a rookie, Anderson showed marked improvement by having success against the opposition’s top corner and expanding his route tree and productivity at all levels of the field.

Not a good look for the receiver, as he’s got a ton of ability, but his inability to stay out of trouble is a big issue, and the team might eventually have to cut ties if this keeps happening.
