Steelers Stud RB Le’Veon Bell Says He Wouldn’t Play for the Jets – No Matter the Money

It doesn’t look like the Le’Veon Bell-to-Jets dream will ever become a reality, Connor Hughes of the Newark Star-Ledger reports.

Well, unless the Jets are willing to break the bank.

A Twitter user jokingly offered the Steelers running back, who will be a free agent on March 14th, “$60 million in cash” if he came to play for the Jets. Bell’s response? That’s not enough.

The Jets haven’t been shy about their plans once the floodgates open on the open market. General manager Mike Maccagnan and acting owner Christopher Johnson both said they’d be “very active.” Bell, assuming he becomes a free agent, would be among the best players available.
