Despite reports that the MRI on his knee Monday came back “clean”, Jets running back Le’Veon Bell is not practicing Wednesday according to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News.
Head coach Adam Gase said Bell pushed to practice, but he’s “really sore” and the two sides agreed it was best for him to just rehab Wednesday.
The team promoted Josh Adams from the practice squad as insurance but Gase said he ultimately expects Bell to play against the New York Giants on Sunday.
