The Jets have added a new face to their coaching staff, as the team has brought in former NFL defensive back Leigh Torrence.
Brian Costello of the New York Post reports that Torrence is the team’s new assistant defensive backs coach. He’s been a defensive assistant since 2017 when he began his coaching career as an intern with the Saints.
Torrence played seven years in the NFL, with stints with the Packers, Falcons, Washington, Saints, and Jaguars.
He replaces Steve Jackson, who left the Jets to take a job with the Bengals.
