Link: Draft Countodwn Reviews Jets Draft is one of the most trusted draft sites around and one of my personal favorites. Unlike most other sites, President Scott Wright takes his time in grading each team’s draft and writes an lengthy review. Here is some of what he had to say about the New York Jets 2011 Draft Class. Click on the link to read his full analysis.

Even though they fell short of their Super Bowl aspirations last year, the Jets are still one of the leagues best teams. In other words there aren’t many starting jobs open in the Big Apple and Wilkerson may be the only member of this class who plays a significant role as a rookie. Still, New York did a nice job of adding depth at key positions, most notably wideout, while also landing some talented prospects who could be in line for starting jobs down the road. If the Jets finally take the next step in 2011 it probably won’t be this crop that put them over the top. However, if this franchise is to remain competitive in the future it will be because a handful of these youngsters developed into key contributors.
