Jets To Make Re-Signing WR Santonio Holmes A Priority

When the NFL lockout is lifted and free-agency begins, the Jets will be busy, particularly if fourth and fifth year players are granted unrestricted free agency. They will be making decisions with wide receivers Santonio Holmes, Braylon Edwards and Brad Smith in addition to cornerback Antonio Cromartie.

According to Jason La Canfora of NFL Network, the Jets will make retaining Holmes, a “priority.” La Canfora also this the Jets won’t fight hard to keep Braylon Edwards. “He is looking for the kind of big money that goes to top starting receivers. In what could be a very shallow market, chances are he will get it.”
